Adult Programs

GYM 101

1st Wednesday of Every Month
6:30pm-8pm

This is your chance to learn a new skill in the gym. The staff member will teach you the basics of the boulders area, the auto belays, and top roping.

Adaptive Climbing

3rd Thursday of Every Month
5:30 – 7:30 pm

It is no secret that rock climbing is good for the muscles and the mind! Grand Valley Climbing is making sure everyone can take part. We are friendly and welcoming to people who have never climbed before. The goal is to get everyone on the wall, especially those that haven’t climbed before. We have a great sense of community and everyone has a great time when they come! Please join us!

Women’s Climbing Group

2nd Wednesday of Every Month
6:30pm-8pm

Join other women and develop skills and partners to climb in the gym and outside with. The group will focus on making you confident in the gym – bouldering, top roping, auto belays and training. Our instructor will lead you through a different skill each session so that you quickly will feel Grand Valley Climbing Gym is a space you can confidently make the most of. We encourage first time and expert women to join the group to mentor and develop together.

Advanced Skills

3rd Wednesday of Every Month

So now you have bouldered, top roped and auto belayed enough to be curious how to belay and lead climb, clean a sport route, set up a sport route tope rope and best practices for cleaning a sport anchor. This is the group for you.

Tuesday Night Bouldering (TNB)

Every Tuesday Night
6:30pm

A tried and tru concept: the idea is to develop a group that meets regularly and trains together. The more knowledge shared the quicker the path to excellence. The more people in the group the more the psych. We would love for this group to become the meeting place for climbers looking to share tips, find partners, board climb, 4×4, make friends and just crush.

Youth Programs

We have a long history of developing passionate youth climbers. Our coaching staff will teach the fundamentals of movement, boulder and rope climbing skills with the aim of creating confident youth climbers that enjoy the process of problem solving. The kids will dive deep into footwork, balance, power and flow to overtime be able to take these skills onto the lead walls and beyond!

Kids are able to join at anytime as we rely heavily on group participation, mentoring, and rapid skills development. Space is limited please call to join or be added to the waitlist.

9-13 Years Olds

Limited to 8 kids per instructor
