|Dear Grand Valley Climbing Community,
I hope that all of us are staying safe and healthy through this very stressful time. As we continue to navigate COVID-19 together, I want to be sure we continue to be transparent in our communication to keep you updated on recent developments.
I want to let everyone know that we will honoring all membership dues that have been paid. This means that when we reopen all prepaid members will have their membership start back up with all the days that they have paid for remaining. This also means that everyone that paid membership dues on March 8th will receive the 24 days of climbing they paid for when we reopen.
On April 8, our next billing day all members will be frozen. All members will not be charged a membership fee but a frozen fee instead. We hope that our members will help support us by keeping the status frozen instead of canceling. While we are closed, we are still doing improvements to Grand Valley Climbing. We are removing every climbing hold from our walls and cleaning them. We are completely cleaning our climbing walls. When we reopen, we will have a completely reset gym for all of you. Your frozen status of $10 per month will help us do this. We understand this is a hard time and some of you will have to cancel. As long as the state of Colorado allows us to continue these projects we will and we will reopen as soon as we can with these projects complete.
We will update you all while these projects are taking place. We hope that you all stay safe and healthy and wish everyone the best during this difficult time.
